New Georgia’s government named

The leader of the Georgian Dream coalition, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili named the new government today.

Ivanishvili himself intends to lead the new government.

 

He already appointed new ministers:

Interior Minister - Irakli Garibashvili;
Foreign Minister - Maya Panjikidze;
Defense Minister – Irakli Alasania, vice Prime Minister (leader of the Our Georgia party, a party to coalition of Ivanishvili, former Georgian ambassador to the UN);
Justice Minister - Tea Tsulukiani;
Healthcare and Social Welfare Minister - Amiran Gamkrelidze;
Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister - Kakha Kaladze, the second vice Prime Minister (a former football player of "Dynamo" Kyiv);
Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Assistance Minister - Sozar Subari;
State Minister for Diaspora Affairs - Kote Surguladze;
Agriculture Minister - David Kirvalidze;
State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration - Alexi Petriashvili,
Culture and Monument Protection Minister - Guram Odisharia;
State Minister for Reintegration – Paata Zakareishvili;
Sports and Youth Minister - Levan Kipiani.

However, the posts of remain vacant post of head of the Finance Minister, the Environmental Protection Minister, the Education Ministry, the Energy Minister, the Economy Minister, the Refugees Minister, "Georgia-Online" informs.

Earlier, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili admitted the defeat of his party "United National Movement" in the parliamentary election. Head of the republic said that UNM goes into opposition.
In addition, there were appointed the head of the State Audit Service - Revaz Shavishvili, head of the National Bank - Nodar Javakhishvili, the Attorney General - Archil Kbilashvili, speaker of the Parliament Davit Usupashvili, deputies speaker - Manana Kobakhidze, Zurab Tkemaladze, and Zurab Abashidze.
