Tax Service cut VAT refund debts of last year

This year, the State Tax Service of Ukraine has reduced debts of the last year on VAT refunds by 3.1 billion UAH, chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klimenko told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, he said that for January-September of 2012, the VAT received 35.2 billion UAH, and taxpayers received 18.6 billion UAH of them in the automatic mode.

In addition, according to Klimenko, the payments of VAT are growing. If in 2010 the monthly average figure was 3 billion UAH, in 2011 - 5.3 billion UAH, but this year - 6.3 billion UAH.

The chairman of the State Tax Service believes that the amounts are growing due to the system for early detection and unshadowing of the economy.

In opinion of the official, there are no VAT refund debts now.
