Former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and ex-president of the European Parliament Pat Cox will report on the results of their work as observers at court proceedings on cases against former Ukrainian PM Yulia Tymoshenko and former interior minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko on October 2 at the European Parliament session.

The report will be presented within the framework of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament with the participation of the EP President Martin Schulz and leaders of political groups, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Kwasniewski and Cox were appointed as EP's observers in the Tymoshenko case on June 11, 2012. Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and EP President Martin Schulz agreed on this during the meeting.

Later on, the tasks of their mission were expanded to observing the cases against Lutsenko and former acting defense minister of Ukraine Valeriy Ivaschenko, as well as monitoring of the preparations for the parliamentary election in Ukraine.
