The strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be decreased from 192 thousand to 100 thousand till 2017, deputy chief of the General Staff Personnel Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Nikolaenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the recruitment of military students will also decrease due to this fact. "The military education will be reformed," he said.
In turn, the deputy director of the Military Education and Science Department of the Defense Ministry Oleksandr Babenko said that the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not change. The systems of education of militaries will also remain the same. The only thing to change is expansion of curriculum at the refresher courses.
