During the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych appointed vice Prime Minister - infrastructure minister Borys Kolesnikov as responsible for the Affordable Housing program implementation, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Affordable Housing program is a long-term social project, which is to solve not only the housing problems. I instruct vice Prime Minister Kolesnikov to implement this program together with the minister (regional development, construction and housing and communal services minister of Ukraine Anatoly - Ed.) Blyzniuk," he said.

Yanukovych explained this decision by saying that Kolesnikov is not so busy after the European Football Championship 2012 is over.

President paid special attention to Kyiv. Head of the KCSA Oleksandr Popov was instructed to eliminate protracted constructions in the capital.
