The Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Central Election Commission not to include names of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former interior minister Yuri Lutsenko in the wording of a voting paper to vote in the multi-member constituency.

Thus, the court dismissed the administrative suit of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland" Party.

The Court concluded that the CEC adopted the lawful decision, approving the wording of the papers without the names of Tymoshenko and Lutsenko, because they had not been registered as candidates in connection with a criminal record. Under the current election law, a voting paper shall include only persons, who are officially registered as candidates.

The decision can be appealed in the Supreme Administrative Court within a two-day period upon the day of its announcement.
