On August 24, more than 1.2 thousand celebrations, attended by almost 724.5 thousand people, were held to mark the 21st anniversary of Ukraine's independence in 726 settlements of all regions of the state held, the Interior Ministry press service informed.
The public order maintenance during the celebrations was provided by almost 13.7 thousand police officers.
No incidents were recorded.
