The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 748.4 thousand hryvnia to the Emergencies Ministry for the urgent evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from the Syrian Arab Republic, the government decree from August 23 says.
The funds were allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget.
In particular, the State Customs Service was charged to ensure the prompt registration of crew members and passengers of aircrafts, and the State Border Service was instructed to implement the control of passengers during crossing the border.
As a reminder, 239 Ukrainians were returned home from Syria.
