Foreign Ministry of Ukraine will consider all applications of Syrian citizens on provision of the Ukrainian visa, FM spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reported.
He said that the Ukrainian Embassy in Syria works in the ordinary course. "The officers continue to make lists of Ukrainian citizens in this country, and in the near future, about 50 people will leave Syria by air liners," the speaker of the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
Dikusarov also assured that Ukraine will consider all applications of the Syrians on receiving the Ukrainian visa, including those who are married to citizens of Ukraine.
In addition, Dikusarov noted that as of today, for the last six days, 239 Ukrainians, 15 Poles and 7 citizens of Syria arrived in Ukraine from Syria. According to him, in Syria, 450 Ukrainians remain in constant contact with the Embassy of Ukraine. "350 of them live in and around Damascus and about 80 live in Aleppo," he said.
