At the meeting on Tuesday, the Mykolayiv City Council decided to implement within the city the law on national language policy, which provides for granting the Russian language the status of regional language.
60 deputies voted in favor of this decision, four deputies voted against the decision and four - abstained (total number of the Council members- 90).
