July inflation in Ukraine makes up 0%

In Ukraine, core inflation (core CPI) amounted to 0% in July against June 2012 and to 0.4% since the beginning of the year (July 2012 - December 2011), ForUm learned from the report of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to the report, the index of core inflation in July 2012 against July 2011 made up 3.1%, in January-July 2012 against the corresponding period in 2011 - 4.8%.

Core inflation excludes short-term irregular price changes under the influence of individual factors which are of administrative, event and seasonal nature. Mostly it refers to price movements, which do not account for changes in food and energy carriers prices.
