Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is concerned about the situation in the water supply system, he said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, as ForUm correspondent reports.

"I’m receiving a lot of complaints of citizens on the fact that the annual heating preventive measures are not finished in due time. Hot water was turned off in the Dniprovsky, Desnansky and Obolonsky districts of Kyiv for a whole month. What happened? It turns out the Finance Ministry, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine and the Kyiv City State Administration failed to agree on differential compensation recalculation. I am serious when warning you that if people do not get proper supplies they pay for, I will take drastic measures," he said.

According to the prime minister, yesterday the hot water supply was resumed. "Only 21 houses remain cut-off due to the routine maintenance," the head of government said.

Azarov also charged the Finance Ministry together with the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services and the leaders of regional administrations to hold a teleconference on the immediate settlement of the differential compensation.
