The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych praised the efficiency of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission and the settlements made within its framework, the head of the state told the journalists after the fifth meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.
"I would like to note that the constructive work and the settlements made within the framework of the Ukrainian-Russian Interstate Commission proved the effectiveness of this unique mechanism of bilateral cooperation and the necessity of holding its meetings on a regular basis," he said.
According to Yanukovych, the decisions made are to promote favorable conditions for the deepening of the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in all the fields without exception. "We have the shared vision that the relations between our countries have great potential," the President said.
