The duty of our generation is the decent bringing up of children and ensuring all the conditions for their successful self-realization, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said meeting the children from all over the Ukraine on the Child Protection Day, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.
“The adults should bring you up in the Ukrainian spirit. Our generation is responsible for granting you the possibility to realize your potential, to get the decent education, to save your health and to do things you are interested in,” the President told the young Ukrainians.
He laid the stress on the importance of finding their way in life, choosing the profession they will enjoy and benefit the state since these are the key factors to the common success of the Ukrainian state.
“It is very important for the young generation to have enough energy, desire and professional skills to live and work on the native land. I wish you to be happy, to achieve your goals and never forget the people who brought you up, your parents and teachers,” he said.
“You are the future masters of this country. The future of your children and next generations will depend on your attitude to our state,” the President emphasized.
