New world order must be formed with participation of Ukraine, the country, able to respond to all modern challenges, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kluyev said at the parliamentary hearings, ForUm correspondent reports.
The official noted that modern world poses challenges and threats to political and economic independence of those countries, which do not have adequate defense complex. Kluyev says such countries face aggressive expansionist war.
According to him, "main challenges and threats are focused in economy and security sectors," but terrorism, as well as religious, ethnic and racial conflicts remain a serious problem as well.
Ukraine should take into account the new reality and become an equal player along with its strategic partners - Russia, the USA, the EU, China and others, as well as promote mutually beneficial relations within post Soviet countries, NSDC secretary says.
Speaking about domestic threats, Kluyev says the problems are focused mainly on the economic sphere, but thanks to President's social program, the country is able to overcome them.
