Cooperation with the European Union is not limited to Ukraine's aspirations for EU membership and the Association Agreement in particular, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during his meeting with President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, ForUm learned from the Cabinet's press office.

The Prime Minister said Ukraine adopted the full program of cooperation with NATO, including operations under NATO auspices and joint military exercises. The Premier added that cooperation with NATO contributes to modernization of the army and defense industry in Ukraine.

In turn, Grybauskaite said that Ukraine should take advantage of the Eastern Partnership and the opportunities of the European perspective. "We want to see Ukraine, which will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the traditional Eastern Partnership and the opportunities of the European perspective. It will be beneficial to us if you get stronger," the President of the Republic of Lithuania said.
