Ukraine is interested in realization of a project of Trans-Caspian gas pipeline, being studied by Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during his meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku, ForUm learned from the Cabinet's press office.
According to him, Ukraine welcomes the initiative to diversify energy supplies. Mykola Azarov noted that if the parties participating in this project come to an agreement Ukraine would like to join.
In his turn, the President of Azerbaijan said that the oil pipeline "Odessa-Brody" is very promising, but this project needs "a push".
As a reminder, PM Azarov is on his working visit to Azerbaijan.
