President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych admits that the state budget for 2012 was adopted in a hurry and has called to follow the principle of justness while distributing the means among regions.
"The budget was prepared in a hurry, because from January 1 the state has to exercise obligatory payments," the President said at a meeting of the committee on economic reforms, ForUm correspondent reports.
In this context Yanukovych pointed out the disproportionate allocation of means of regional development among the regions. "I urge you, Mykola Yanovych (Azarov), the Finance Minister and all the government to solve this problem during January, I repeat January. Don't wait till the next month. All means the budget provides for regional development must be distributed equally and justly. I don't want any misbalance. I don't want us to be ashamed to look into people's eyes when we will be visiting the regions," the President said.
