The bill that restricts the rights of families with children to receive financial aid will be withdrawn by the Cabinet of Ministers from parliament, First Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev told reporters Monday, according to UKRINFORM.

"We will not allow introducing any additional references, or restrictions. On the contrary, we must increase aid and simplify all possible procedures. The state must encourage greater fertility. Young mothers should feel the care and support," the official stressed.

The bill amending to the law on state assistance to families with children, submitted to parliament on November 29, proposed to introduce the need to provide additional information about family members, as well as the income of all members.

It was also proposed to limit the right to receive child allowance for single mothers, whose monthly income exceeds the amount which is calculated as the sum set at the time of operation of the subsistence minimum for each child, and the average wage in the sectors of the economy.
