The Cabinet will introduce energy saving technologies in Ukraine's schools, prime minister Mykola Azarov to a briefing after visiting a Kyiv school, ForUm's correspondent reports.

"This school is situated far from boiler stations, that's why a decision was made to introduce a pilot project. So I came to check whether it had been carried out, how it works and whether there are any complains," the PM said.

According to him, the project will pay off after five years, but already from the first year 'we start to save the most expensive fuel - gas.' "The project is very interesting and we will spread it," Azarov informed.

The PM also declared that Ukrainian schools must be equipped with energy saving light bulbs, which will help to save up to 40% of energy annually. "Introduction of such technologies needs state support. And we will give such support," Azarov summed up.
