After Euro 2012 the Government will pay special attention to development of major cities, stated Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov during his working visit to Dnipropetrovsk.

"After July 1, 2012 - the final match of Euro 2012 - all attention of the President and the Government will be focused on cities with population more than one million. First we will discuss support for building roads, organizing high-speed rail service between big cities," said Borys Kolesnikov, according to Party of Regions press office.

Construction of bypass road in Dnepropetrovsk, which is one of the priority infrastructure projects in the region, will be carried out in three stages.

"We divided all the work into three stages: 2012, 2013 and 2014 correspondingly. November 15 this year the contractor must complete the first construction phase, for the years 2013-2014 it is completely clear what works will be performed," said Vice Prime Minister.

"For better convenience of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv residents will run high-speed trains Kyiv - Dnipropetrovs'k – Donetsk after Euro 2012," said Borys Kolesnikov.
