In turn, Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, Guido Westerwelle expressed hope that the agreement will be signed this year.
He stressed that Germany sees Ukraine as part of a joint European space. According to Westerwelle, the European Union is not so much an economic community, as a union of democratic values.
