A visa free regime for trips in the European Union countries can be introduced for Ukraine for the UEFA EURO 2012 Championship, Deputy of the European Parliament Marek Siwiec has said, the official website of the information center Ukraine 2012 informs.
"It will be better to introduce a visa free regime for Ukraine for EURO 2012. If not, than it will be necessary to make certain regulations for crossing the border for convenience of fans in order to open the borders for European football fans. But I am convinced that we will manage to look into the visa free regime," he noted, UKRINFORM reported.
According to Siwiec, the European Parliament strives that as more as possible people come to Ukraine for the European Football Championship 2012, whose finals will be held in Ukraine and therefore it tries to assist the fans in this way.
