Yesterday the government set a record on staff rotation. Within three hours the Cabinet conducted 117 dismissals and appointments in the central bodies of power.
On initiative of premier Mykola Azarov, members of the government first dismissed heads of more than 40 departments. Many officials learned about their dismissal post factum. "I called to the staff department and learned that I was fired," former head of the State interpreneurship interpreneurship department Oleksandra Kuzhel said.
In addition, the Cabinet replaced the head of the State Property Fund having appointed Oleksandr Ryabchenko instead of Dmytro Parfenenko. Ryabchenko is the acting head for the moment as his candidature must be approved by the parliament. "In two weeks my candidature will be submitted to the parliament," Ryabchenko said.
