On coalition suggestion president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych submitted the candidature of Mykola Azarov for the post of prime minister of Ukraine.
The president also submitted candidatures of Mykhailo Yazhel for the post of Defense Minister and Konstantin Gryshchenko for the post of Foreign Minister. As for the post of Security Service head Yanukovych submitted Valery Khoroshkovsky.
The MPs were also given biographies of the following candidates for ministerial posts in a new Cabinet:
Vasyl Dzhardy - Interior Minister;
Oleksandr Kuzmuk - Defense Minister;
Nestor Shufrych - Emergency Minister;
Borys Kolesnikov - vice prime minister;
Konstantyn Yefimenko - Transport Minister;
Petro Poroshenko - Foreign MInister;
Oleksandr Lavrynovych - Justice Minister;
Vasyl Nadraga - Social policy and labour Minister.
