Yanukovych told a news
briefing on Thursday that his election program would be based on the
results of his "I Will Hear Everybody" initiative, while over 100,000
people have already addressed him from August 15.
The opposition leader
noted that, on the basis of those addresses, he singled out three
problems of the greatest concern to the Ukrainian society. Firstly,
this is solving of the poverty problem. He emphasized that his
political force would be lobbying higher social standards in
parliament, insisting that the relevant bill be adopted next plenary
week.
Yanukovych also promises to get down to settlement of the demographic problem in Ukraine, particularly, through raising child birth payments, insuring proper living standards of pensioners, putting things into order in justice system, and a number of other questions.
