The parliament has adopted draft resolution on dismissal of MP from the BYuT faction Viktor Lozinsky, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

415 MPs voted for such decision. In particular, PR – 164, BYuT – 133, OU-PSD – 69, CPU – 27, Lytvyn - 20, out of faction – 2.

As a reminder, on June 16 murder of a resident of Holovanivsk district in Kirovohrad region, Valeriy Oliynyk was committed. The participants of that incident Lozinsky as MP, Yevhen Horbenko as prosecutor and Mykhailo Kovalsky as interior ministry's officer could not be detained due to immunity from prosecution.

 
As a reminder,President Viktor Yuschenko demanded that the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, take away the deputy immunity of Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) MP Viktor Lozinsky, Presidential Press Secretary Iryna Vannykova has said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should immediately consider the question of taking away deputy immunity from BYT MP Lozinsky," she said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

She also said that the president had sent a respective letter to Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn.

Vannykova also said that the president was overseeing this investigation.

The president demanded that investigators conduct high-quality work and added that he would do his best for this case to be investigated as soon as possible, she said.
