MP from the Lytvyn bloc Oleh Zarubinskyi considers that appointment of presidential elections on October 25, 2009 significantly complicates possibility to held early parliamentary elections. He told the journalists today.
According to Zarubinskyi, today’s statements of some MPs proved that they were afraid that the plan of President’s Secretariat and some MPs from the Party of Regions concerning holding of early parliamentary elections could be broken.
Zarubinskyi considers that today’s decision of the VRU leaves no possibility to dismiss the parliament
As a reminder, today the parliament adopted a draft resolution on appointment of presidential elections on October 25, 2009. 401 MPs voted for such decision: PR – 174, BYuT – 155, OU-PSD – 26, CPU – 27, Lytvyn bloc – 19.
The resolution comes into effect from the moment of its publicizing.
