The Government of Ukraine will continue cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, in particular with an aim to obtain the second tranche of the loan. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko informed at a briefing in the aftermath of the selector meeting devoted to salary issues in the regions.

“We are working over the issue of returning the IMF mission to Ukraine,” Yulia Tymoshenko announced, Government portal reported.

At the same time, the Premier denied the information that within the framework of obtaining the loan the Government of Ukraine will allegedly fulfill an IMF condition about prolongation of pension age for Ukraine’s citizens: “Being the Prime Minister I will not afford to increase pension age for men and women. The pension age will not undergo any changes.”
