Prosecutor's
Office of Kyiv examined the study buildings of the Shevchenko's Kyiv
national University and revealed the attempt to privatize the buildings.
Press office of the Prosecutor's Office informed that the former rector of the University and one of the commercial enterprises made a contract on joint activities, which provides for privatization of the buildings and with further reconstruction into commercial centers.
Taking into account the violation of students' rights and illegal disposal of stare property, the Prosecutor's Office appealed to the Economic Court of Kyiv with the request to recognize all contracts as invalid.
The Court granted the request in full measure.
