Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland have agreed on holding a friendly football match between the governments of both states. Prime Minister of Ukraine announced at a press conference in Warsaw on the conclusions of the sitting of Intergovernmental Ukraine-Polish Committee on preparing and holding of Euro-2012, Cabinet's press office reported.

According to her, the football match between Ukrainian and Polish government members will be held on September 14, on the eve of the second sitting of Intergovernmental Ukraine-Polish Committee on preparing and holding of Euro-2012 slated for September 15 in Kyiv.

Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized the following sitting of Ukrainian-Polish Committee on Euro-2012 will take place just before the final report on gearing-up to the football championship before the UEFA leadership.

Prime Minister of Ukraine considers that while preparing for the Euro-2012 Ukraine and Poland should be united by the motto “Two states – one team!”

Besides, Yulia Tymoshenko added that in terms of problems and challenges emerging in the process of readying for the European championship the two governmental teams will be reliable forwards.

“Speaking about those who wish to weaken Poland and Ukraine in the course of holding the Euro-2012, we will be a joint team of full-backs. Concerning our cooperation, in the attitude towards each other we won’t afford any kickbacks. In terms of complicated questions of journalists, we will be reliable goalkeepers,” Yulia Tymoshenko promised.
