The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed a Strategy of the development of the defense-industrial complex. Cabinet's press service reports.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, the document stipulates for a complex of issues concerning determination of the modern priorities of enterprises and research institutions’ operation which produce defense technology, special techniques and spares.
Yulia Tymoshenko stated that implementation of the Strategy allows achieving new modern level of the outfit production using high-tech developments and innovations. And this, in its turn, will make essential step to transition to a contract army.
“The Government keeps on carrying out of strategy reforms,” the Prime Minister said.
