Yesterday President Viktor Yushchenko held a telephone conversation with the winner of presidential elections in Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
During the conversation President Yushchenko greeted Medvedev with the victory in presidential elections. Yushchenko also expressed assurance that deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Russia would continue and reassured that Ukraine is ready to further strengthen prolific bilateral relations based on mutual trust, understanding and pragmatism.
