People’s deputy of Ukraine of the sixth convocation, member of the OU-PSD faction Mykola Onishchuk says that according to the Constitution, the acting government must fulfill its duties until formation of new government. He stated in an interview with ForUm’s correspondent.
The People’s deputy has emphasized that the Constitutional regulations restrict the right of the Prime Minister and all Ministers to apply for resignation until formation of new Cabinet of Ministers. According to him, if such application is submitted, then new Minister of Prime Minister must be appointed to this position.
“If the vote for the Prime Minister will have no results, then Yanukovych must fulfill the duties of the Prime Minister until formation of new government.”
