“People’s Self-Defense” named candidature for post of speaker

The “People’s Self-Defense” considers President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko as a leader of the democratic forces and is ready to consider his arguments concerning the possible candidature for the post of the VRU chairman. The statement of the “People’s Self-Defense” says.

Meanwhile, according to the authors of the statement, the “People’s Self-Defense” considers representative of the OU-PSD bloc, Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, as an optimal candidature for the post of the VRU speaker, as it was proclaimed earlier.

At the same time, it is noted in the document that according to the People’s deputy group, the replacement of candidatures for the post of speaker can take place only if candidature is a representative of the democratic coalition and supports the OU-PSD or the BYuT as the basis for the majority formation in the VRU.
