President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko considers “formation of political stability as task number one.
“It is axiom that must be learned from history of previous years. The configuration must be achieved that would give stability. During elections nobody spoke about civil war, self-destructions or mutual destructions, everybody spoke about things that contribute to peace, stability and perspective,” Yushchenko said.
According to Yushchenko the obvious solution will be formation of democratic majority. However, it is not self-sufficient. It is necessary to reach constructive understanding between majority and minority not to make this majority ineffective.
According to Yushchenko political forces must not repeat the same mistakes and practice of the previous years. He opined that the obstacle number one on the way of formation of political stability would be corporate or private interests. Now we must use time for mutual consultations between key players of parliament and define priorities.
