Secretary of National Security and Defense Council Ivan Plyushch considers practice of making categorical demands concerning security issues in public is wrong. The ForUm’s correspondent informs referring to president’s press office.

“As a Secretary of NSDC, I consider that it is a wrong way to make ultimatum demands on security issues in public. It concerns many issues, starting from work organization of gas distributing networks to terms of conscription to Armed Forces of Ukraine. Basic issues of state importance abhor political fuss and swoops. Responsible politicians must not combine election rhetoric with adoption of significant decision. It is a wrong way to nowhere,” he said.

According to Plyushch, new stage of relations between representatives of democratic team must be built on the principles of mutual trust and responsibility.

“President of Ukraine is ready to listen to all positions of the parties and to contribute to adoption of the best decision for the interest of Ukraine,” he noted.
