“Dneprogas” Jsc. considers that reason of gas explosion in block of flats in Dnipropetrovsk is breakdown of gas distributing unit. Director of “Dneprogas” Jsc. Ihor Ivankov stated that on Sunday in Dnipropetrovsk.
According to him, emergency commission is working out a range of possible versions of breakdown of gas distributing unit: factory defect, human factor, interference of third people to system of gas supply.
Moreover, inner investigation is being held why people could not reach on phone gas emergency service “04”.
Ivankov also has noted that gas networks are very exhausted but “Dneprogas” Jsc has no right to repair or change them. The owner – the State property fund of Dnipropetrovsk must deal with gas networks. “Dneprogas” Jsc is only a company that exploits gas networks and must annually allocate 4% of funds for their services.
