In Donetsk 76 % of voters supported the Party of Regions at the early parliamentary elections, and 1 % of voters supported the Socialist party of Ukraine. City chairman Olexander Lukyanchenko informed at the press conference on Tuesday.
“Political forces, supported by citizens of Donetsk, received the following quantity of votes: the Party of Regions - 76% , bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko – 4 %, the Progressive socialist party of Ukraine – 3,2%, the Communist party of Ukraine – 7 %, the bloc “Our Ukraine People’s Self-defense” – 2 %. 2% of voters didn’t support any party. The Socialist party of Ukraine obtained 1 % in Donetsk,” the mayor said.
