Court allowed Yushchenko to agitate

The District administrative court of Kyiv has determined that President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has the right to take part in election agitation. The Court also has annulled the resolution of the Central Election Committee which prohibited the Head of the State to hold election agitation, in particular for “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense” bloc.

Also the Court has determined that the CEC has exceeded its authority, taking a decision regarding prohibition.

This decision of the Court can be appealed to the Supreme administration Court of Ukraine.
