On Thursday presentation of the draft bill “On State budget of Ukraine for 2008” will take place. First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Finance Mykola Azarov has stated at today’s session of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“This stage is foreseen by the budget code and we carry out it according to the acting legislation of Ukraine,” he said.
Azarov has asked all members of the Government to work seriously with the People’s deputies and to take part in the meetings of committees of the VRU, at which the question on the budget for the next year will be considered.
According to Azarov, on Wednesday the Government will consider the program concerning social and economic development of Ukraine, which the Ministry of Economics has prepared.
