According to the Constitution of Ukraine the National Security and Defense Council must solve staff questions if they can lead to problems of national security of Ukraine and security of citizens. Deputy secretary of NSDC Yuriy Prodan has stated at the briefing in the President’s Secretariat. ForUm’s correspondent reports.
Prodan has said that according to 4 Article of the law of Ukraine “On National Security and Defense Council” the council elaborates and considers questions on staff provision and measures implementation concerning national security and defense, and concerning measures in compliance with the scale of potential and real threats to national interests of Ukraine.
The deputy secretary of NSDC expressed assurance that NSDC had acted within the frame of law and its decisions are well-grounded.
