Lutsk holds first land auction

First land auction in Lutsk took place. Lutsk municipal authorities got more than UAH 11 million for 8 land areas the fist bid of which was about UAH 43.5 thousand. Land areas were sold on process tenfold more than first bids, according to Lutsk mayor’s office press service.

For preliminary estimations municipal authorities hoped to enrich the budget by UAH 5-6 million. Results of auction exceeded this sum almost twofold.

Procedure of preparation of land areas to auction last more than a year.

Land auction is the most objective way of land sale, according to the city chairman Bohdan Shyba. He said that free land areas will be sold openly. Everybody who wishes will be able to buy them.
