The Russian parliamentarians consider to refuse participation in summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly OSCE that will take place in Kyiv in early July, Lubov Sliska the delegation head of the Russian Federation to PA OSCE, the first vice speaker of State Duma informed.
“It was decided by officials of the State Duma and Federation council. The main reason for such decision is that the Ukrainian parliament is illegal now. We consider it is nonsense to hold session of the PA OSCE in the country where there is no legal parliament,” she explained.
She also noted that she is aware of concern of the PA OSCE heads who “painfully reacted” at the refusal to participate in summer session, however she considers that such decision should be a signal for participants of this organization.
