The USA stands for Ukraine’s forthcoming joining the WTO. William Taylor the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine has told that at today’s international forum “Euroatlantic future of Ukraine”.
“The USA supports Ukraine’s joining the WTO,” Taylor emphasized.
He noted that except the economic benefit, Ukraine will be able to start work on the free trade area with the European Union which in its turn is the basis for the further integration to the European society. Taylor noted that the USA is glad the Ukrainian parliament has adopted the necessary laws on the WTO joining, in spite of the political crisis, “UNIAN” reports.
The ambassador also noted that for a successful Euroatlantic integration of Ukraine the legislation acts should be adopted, which will improve the investment climate in the country and will cancel the moratorium on land selling. William Taylor hopes the question on land will be solved within half a year.
