During the visit to the city of Venice (the Italian Republic) on the occasion of opening the 52nd International Exhibition of Modern Art “The Venice Biennale” Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk held a meeting with mayor of Venice Massimo Cacciari. The Cabinet press office informed.
Dmytro Tabachnyk noted that due to the Biennale, Venice repeatedly becomes a cultural capital of the world and it is very important for Ukraine and its art to participate in such a respected international forum of modern art for the fourth time.
Massimo Cacciari noted a highly professional project of Ukraine this year, as well as its scale which had awakened interest not only of the mass media and public but also of arts critics and other participants of the Biennale.
The "PinchukArtCenter" represents Ukraine at the 52nd international exhibition of modern art "La Biennale di Venezia". The Ukrainian exhibition is dubbed "Poem about Internal Sea" and displays modern Ukraine through topical shapes of modern art.
