The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko held a meeting with the head of Central Election Commission Yaroslav Davydovych, The ForUm’s correspondent informs.

At the beginning of the meeting the President called Davydovych to estimate the situation concerning VRU dismissal and early parliamentary election exclusively from the legal point of view. ‘Method of its solution can be only democratic,” Yushchenko noted.

Yushchenko is convinced that it is time to stop “anti constitutional process” arising due to illegal formation of the coalition in the parliament.

“We should act of provide people’s will, law and democratic elections, He said.

The matter concerns the opportunity for representatives of majority and also opposition to address the people and get their support.

“There is political conflict between coalition and opposition that should be solved through honest and democratic way,” Yushchenko said adding that he is ready to give correspondent orders to provide elections on May 27.

In the scope of the meeting, the head of Central Election Commission Yaroslav Davydovych informed the President about action that should be carried out to organize elections. Davydovych expressed readiness to conduct elections within the time limits determined by the law.
