The People’s deputies of Ukraine overcame President’s veto to extend a moratorium on the sale of farmland. 367 people’s deputies voted for veto overcoming, among which 185 are from Party of regions, 120 from BYuT, 5 from “Our Ukraine”, 31 socialists, 20 communists and 6 out factional deputies, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olexander Moroz intends to ask the President to sign the law on moratorium imposition on land property sale, veto of which was overcome today in the Parliament.
“Apparently, I will address the President today with request to sign the law quickly to prevent someone from acting on the basis of the current regulations up to the moment of the effectiveness of the law,” Moroz noted.
