Women are the future of Ukrainian diplomacy. The Head of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk told today at the press conference.
“Stereotype that diplomacy is only male work passes in the past. I’m convinced that successful diplomacy should be with woman’s face,” he said.
“Diplomats often have a lack of woman’s traits. Mildness of thinking and intuition,” Tarasyuk added.
According to Tarasyuk, at recent time the number of women-workers has increased in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
“Today there are 29% of women in the Foreign Ministry and 40% of women are in central body. In 2004 there was only one woman-ambassador in Ukraine. Today such women are more,” the Minister said.
