At a press conference in Kyiv the Verkhovna Rada
speaker Oleksandr Moroz commented on recent appointment of Nestor Shufrich for
the post of Emergency Minister of Ukraine.
In response to the question whether it is fair celebrating anniversary of Kuchma’s dethronement to return his associates to the power, Moroz said: “I see that Yushchenko’s being in office of the President of Ukraine does not arouse your indignation, but he is a man from Kuchma’s circle. Why then do you think that if a person was in politics in Kuchma’s times, he or she was directly connected with Kuchma?
Moroz assured representatives of the press that he can cite a great number of examples of returning to the power of people, who worked in the former President’s team.
